The STEP program at 317 Maple Street in Holyoke,MA is open year round and our staff is available from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is also an emergency phone number available on the answering machine where staff may be reached 24 hours a day.
The school day itself is approximately six hours beginning anywhere between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. STEP is closed for certain holidays (see the calendar included) and if the Holyoke public schools close due to snow. If a students sending school district closes, then that student is not expected to be in school. However, if the Holyoke school district is open, then STEP is open to serve that particular student if he/she decides to come to school.
